Do not fling things on the groung because the villagers don't like it, not even on your farm. Once you have shipped 1000 items, you will get a adult horse that you can ride, even out of town. It is your job work hard to bring her back. The harvest god banished the goddess to another world. You need to find 101 harvest sprites. This is a really fun game. You only need to find 50 of them to bring back the Harvest Goddess. You also farm along the way and can get married and have a child.
I thought that this game would be as fun as that, and portable. They're like little workers that you have to find. It's impossible. You don't have much to do, and unlike in the gamecube Harvest Moon, the sprites are not cute little things that you go and visit.
Truth be told, it's not worth the money. If you enjoy simple yet challenging games with a good storyline to it, then this is not the game for you. I guess it can be fun somtimes. I have Harvest Moon, A New Life(I think that's what it's called) for gamecube. It is very fun, the graphics are very good, and the people are very interactive. I got bored of it very quickly. It costs a lot of money that is hard to get, and I have tried forever to get one of the boys to like me but our friendship level never goes up.
If you like complicated, impossible games with no storyline and emotionless characters then, yeah, you might like this game. I have to say, I am not impressed with this game. No such luck. I ended up using my brother's little DS Cheat thing that you stick into your DS to get more money.
It was just so dull. I don't know if it's just me, everything seems so much harder to do. I found the opening cut scenes funny, and the art work is cute.But I got bored fast. Be ready to fight off dark animals.
You don't even start out with a lumber shed, a barn, or a silo. Did you accidentally drop something. All the raw materials don't make much money at all. Normally, I'm really easy on things. You have to build pretty much ev-ry-thing.
So sure, you buy your first crops, you talk to everyone, build a barn and get animals. You'd better have a lot of patience. (By the way: what the heck is with that). At least in MFoMT and A Wonderful Life, you could count on that if you're hurting. That's enough bashing from me. If you're a long time fan, I wouldn't purchase.
Then I bought this. But this game didn't do it for me. I own the Game Boy More Friends of Mineral Town and A Wonderful life for PS2 from Harvest Moon. Mining. But honestly; I thought this was such a disappointment.The graphics are similar to MFoMT, and I actually like the music a lot.
Even if you drop a WEED on your farm, the villagers get upset. I'm sure if you've never played the Harvest Moon games before, you may enjoy this. (I have a friend who did. I don't normally get this upset with anything at all. I wanted to love it, just because I love Harvest Moon so much. Then when all that was done, I had to stop playing. Courting. It doesn't matter if it's your own property.
But now he's just as bored as I am). Ok, so here's the thing. One more thing. No worries; except for the fact that everyone's liking for you, and I mean everyone, suddenly decreases.
Couple of things wrong with it though,1) A Watering Can glitch after you upgraded it passed Mystic (Highest), once you have it you can no longer water, or fill your can or used the Blessed Watering can. I am seriously addicted to it. T_T so they sent me a new game and I had to start all over.2) Cook-Off Event Glitch, if the theme is Ovan, then you might as well skip the event entirly, the game will freeze you in the event and you'll have to reset the system.Other then that it is a pretty fun game, except for the hand cramps from taking care of the animals. This Harvest Moon game is one of the best. Its easy to play and there isn't much to it except for farming. Its only happend to couple of people, but I sent it in and Natsume couldn't fix it.
I love this Game. Pretty much the same as Harvest Moon, but without all the glitches.
